BIO

Her songs give people's hearts nostalgic feelings and vicarious experiences. Also, her singing voice, which sounds like it emanates from the bottom of her soul, and melodies are kaleidoscopic.

Her songs are rooted in the classical music and Western pop music that she grew up listening to through her father's influence. Also, gospel music from when she attended Sunday school as a child. The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, which she sang without knowing the meaning of the lyrics, and the hard rock and progressive rock that captivated her in her early teens as well. She was a child who was allured by resolving all of her concerns through singing.

She began her apprenticeship in progressive rock at the age of 15. Her progressive rock teacher introduced her to the world of soul. He also taught her that she would not be able to survive in the world of music unless she has knowledge, rhythm, and an ear for all types of music in addition to rock. Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Bonnie Raitt would become her idols.

Believing that English would be essential in her quest to continue her career in music, she decided to study abroad in the United States during high school.

Although she only spent a year abroad, she returned with the valuable asset of being able to communicate in English. She was also blessed with a great environment during her experience studying abroad, as she was able to take a job as a wedding singer.

While she passionately devoted herself to production and writing lyrics and songs, she went on to a normal university in order to understand the workings of society and life. She was inspired by her friends from outside of music. At the same time, she took on many jobs in house bands and as a backing vocalist. As a student, she visited Nancy Wilson, who recently passed away, at Blue Note Jazz Club in New York to sing for her and get her advice and went to Hiram Bullock's local sessions to bombard him with questions. This captures her existence at the time as a reckless and foolhardy daughter of music.

She continued to gain experience in music, while also gaining many other forms of experience working various part-time jobs as a student and working at a major insurance company and international phone company after graduating.

In the meantime, she suffered a major accident in her early 20s that prevented her from singing for roughly 2 years, but she trained through trial and error to be able to recover and sing even better than before. She currently teaches these methods through her voice training lessons.

While working with American musicians who are active in Japan, she was beginning to aspire to fill her own gaps when she suffered another major traffic accident. As is to be expected, she struggled to pull herself together after this, as she was affected strongly. It was at this time that Patti Cathcart from Tuck and Patti, who she had always admired and continually sent passionate emails to seeking lessons, contacted her to come take lessons from her.

From then, she worked together with Patti to resurrect Micci the singer again.

Micci's passion for music and ability as a songwriter were approved by Tuck and Patti, and she began her project to share her music with the world in 2016.

After taking lessons for many years, she has created an album produced by Patti Cathcart, her beloved mentor, that is launching soon.
